NESTLED WITHIN THE OCEANFRONT AREA IS VIRGINIA BEACH’S CULTURAL ARTS ENCLAVE—THE VIBE CREATIVE DISTRICT.  Virginia Beach’s ViBe Creative District is a creative community of nearly 100 local businesses and artists all working hard to adapt to the COVID-19 restrictions while providing you locally made and sourced goods. A hub for artists and spirits, roasters and restaurants, workouts and wares, the ViBe District is where our creative businesses have set up shop to share their passion! Now, more than ever, it’s important to SHOP SMALL and SUPPORT LOCAL!

ViBe Creative District nonprofit – Social Distancing With Art
Are you feeling tired and stressed from the current pandemic? Take a mental break and enjoy the local arts found in the ViBe Creative District at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. On a sunny day, come enjoy an outdoor, social distancing scavenger hunt in the ViBe Creative District as exercise with your immediate family members or favorite pup! Find a downloadable scavenger hunt form via our website ViBeCreativeDistrict.org or Facebook page now. On rainy days, you can take the virtual tour of over 100 public art works including murals, creative crosswalks, sidewalk art and more from the comfort of your own home. You and your family can learn about the local arts by watching the videos and clicking on links to artists’ websites to find additional content. OLD BEACH FARMERS MARKET nonprofit
Looking for a safe way to provide groceries for your family while supporting small, locally owned-businesses and farmers? Enjoy the Old Beach Farmer’s Market weekly drive-through market, taking place every Saturday morning from 9am-noon. PRE-order during the week to have fresh, local foods from over a dozen local food suppliers brought to your car in a safe, secure outdoor environment. Located at Croc’s 19th Street Bistro  at 19th St & Cypress Ave in the ViBe Creative District at the Virginia Beach oceanfront. Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art nonprofit
Though the doors to the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art may be temporarily closed due to COVID-19, Virginia MOCA offers you and your family ALL NEW digital galleries, interviews, articles, educational videos and more right to the comfort of your home. Visit VirtualVAMOCA.org to find interactive ways to explore contemporary art and engage in family-friendly educational content. There will be new features to explore almost every day, so visit regularly. Virginia Beach Art Center nonprofit / The Artist’s Gallery
CALLING ALL ARTISTS IN THE 757!! The Artist’s Gallery of the Virginia Beach Art Center welcomes you to share your artwork for an online virtual exhibition titled Pandemic ’20. This ongoing community art exhibition is offered to help us all express our thoughts, feelings and experiences with the Coronavirus pandemic. Current artworks depict a variety of perspectives from a global, financial, community, scientific, or personal perspective. ART can have a healing influence! The public is welcomed to visit artcentervb.org – to view the amazing creations by local artists. If you feel inspired, submit your own artwork via the online application form.
